Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I process payroll for the company. We switched to Paylocity because the H.R. department needed software that could help make her job easier and automate various functions that were difficult to manage manually.
  • Manages time-off much better than our previous platform
  • Help with accurate allocation of departmental costs
  • Allows for processing one day before pay date.
  • In my experience, implementation was a disaster for us. Too many people involved from different departments made the process a very long and ardous
  • In my opinion, way too many mistakes made by the implementation team
  • Due to "too many cooks in the kitchen" at implementation, one hand never knew what the other was doing causing a lot of effort and corrections for us.
  • I only process payroll, so I can only say that I spend less time processing payroll than with my previous platform.
  • Processes are more consistent, and when used properly reduces errors
I do not work in H.R., so this question does not apply to me.
Again, I do not work in H.R. so I cannot answer this question.

As I said earlier, the implementation process is very disorganized and had too many people involved making the process a total nightmare. It was extremely difficult getting someone to help resolve our issues, and after implementation our account manager was unwilling to communicate with us by phone causing issues to not be resolved or take way too much time and effort. We eventually had to ask to have our account manager changed to someone who was willing to work with us in a more efficient manner. However, once we were finally up and running and worked the kinks out which took several months, the process became much easier than what we had before we came to Paylocity.
