Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use numerous modules hr & payroll, time & labor, surveys, learning, and workflows documents. We also have 360 integration with other vendors. Ease for small group benefit administration and our 401k vendor. Integration between these modules saves 100's of man hours annually. It eliminates redundant entries, error reduction, facilitates compliance & testing and reporting.
- dynamic reporting functionality
- employee friendly user interfaces especially in mobile app
- learning module ensures compliance and really facilitates training
- workflows simplifies tracking and authorization process
- creating meal break alerts for CA employers
- allowing employee views from admin access to facilitate training
- allowing mobile access for company admin users
- ACA module is not intuitive and difficult to navigate e.g. error should take you to the window you need to correct the error
- tax issues--the inability to interface with tax team results in prolonged delays and rework that could be avoided if their was a designated interface--having account person have to act as intermediary when they do not necessarily understand the issue just complicates the issue.

- cost reduction-hr is no longer is responsible for entering and updating EE information the employee is
- compliance mailings and training are automated, create the event and program is to send reminders --easily send reminders at once, facilitates tracking completion and reporting and appends to employee record.
We are continuously automating our processes as new functionality becomes available. Looking for ways in which we can allow Paylocity to reduce the level of human interaction required to perform routine tasks. Example 360 integration eliminates inevitable human error whether its a transposition error or timing error --automating these tasks frees up a minimum of 2 hours every payroll and 100's of hours dedicated to benefits enrollment and terminations annually.
During covid surveys were a very important tool in determining employees ability to work on any given day. Regulatory compliance required a great deal of documentation, just automating covid surveys spared an already over burden staff form this very time consuming process.
Breath of functionality, and the ability to integrate were primary drivers for change.
