Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
The software is used for payroll and HR purposes. Applicant tracking, time tracking and ACA features are used. The mobile portal was useful during Covid.
- Timecard feature is intuitive and easy to use
- Most report features are easy to use and customizable
- Compliance tools are helpful
- Communication is terrible, often with no follow up. Representatives are not always knowledgeable regarding software/updates and sometimes show little regard for customers or their time.
- Technical team has a very slow turn around time. Expect up to a month for replies in some cases.
- Representatives work remotely. Excessive hold times and dropped calls.
- Reduced time expenditures with payroll and onboarding
- Reduced errors employee time recording
Both the HRIS and time tracking systems function well. Our primary disappointment has been with customer service when seeking assistance or help with long-standing issues.
Paylocity is more comprehensive with more tics and problems. Each system has issues from time to time. Customer service often leaves us disappointed.
