  • Podio is a great way to organize/track information in a team environment.
  • Podio's flexibility allows it to be tailored to the precise needs of the organization or team.
  • Podio can create an interconnected web of data that makes finding information easier.

Cons

  • Podio's flexibility can make it daunting to setup. You need to have an understanding of where you want to end up before you start.
  • Podio's flexibility also makes it less able to deal with highly specialized use cases that might be better served by dedicated solutions.
  • Podio apps lack some data manipulation abilities. For example, you cannot calculate the number of days between two dates.
  • Podio allows better conveyance of information that is great in the present but also keeps the information in a searchable past archive. This allows everyone access to the same information and keeps firm knowledge up to date.
  • A custom podio app has helped keep project information up to date in a team environment so that all team members can know easily the status of various items.
  • Podio has streamlined the lead tracking process allowing leads to be followed up on appropriately and freeing time to actually pursue leads.
Podio's value is more than the monthly cost. Although our company has not fully embraced new technology with open arms, Podio has managed to create value. It has potential to create even more value if used more widely.
Podio is great for organizing and managing projects in team environments.
