Overall Satisfaction with Postmark
We send primarily transactional email - notifications for verifying user email addresses, for new messages received, and alerts based upon user preferences. We also send occasional, more generic broadcast emails to subsets of the user base. Postmark has been the most effective email provider in ensuring that emails end up in user inboxes. This is especially critical for us, considering we require email verification to begin using our services.
- Email deliverability
- Uptime and stability
- Delivery and open tracking
- I wish the DMARC monitoring service was built-in
- I wish they kept historical records longer, or had an option to
- I wish they helped set up BIMI
- I wish they had a feature to validate/verify an email address
- Email deliverability
- Bounce tracking
- API for getting delivered, opened and clicked records
- Customer service isn't wasting time on "email wasn't received" problems
- Customer service can better understand customer problems by seeing what emails someone received and if they opened/clicked on them
- Customer engagement is higher because they are receiving emails from our application consistently
- Mailgun and from Pathwire
I've also used AWS Simple Messaging Service (SES) but couldn't select it from the above, as well as the old one Mailchimp used to run and shut down. We had big deliverability issues with those services, inconsistent but often for self-hosted email providers and free email providers like Hotmail or Yahoo.
