Overall Satisfaction with Procore

I use Procore on construction projects from looking at plans, managing timesheets, documenting the work, and scheduling.
  • Ability to store all documentation/documents in one place.
  • Ability to manipulate plans and send messages to people in the field.
  • It's hard to find a way to put managers time in.
  • Can not delete pictures from field devices.
  • Saved time.
  • Increase efficiency on the office side more so than in the field ( but still saved).
I do not use any other software with Procore anymore. When we first got it we used Dropbox as well as Plangrid in conjunction with Procore but once we made sure it was going to work for us we stopped using both Plangrid and Dropbox. Procore has made my life easier.
Before Procore, we used an Excel sheet with Dropbox, and that was okay at best. Having everyone doing daily logs in one place with the code already preset for them has eliminated the number of errors on them. Also, on my end, being able to review/adjust/approve on one platform without having to print all and turn in is a huge benefit.
I would not know. Our IT guy is looking into alternatives to Procore.
In construction, Procore has made my life extremely easier from the storage of all documents, being able to organize all of our work documentation, managing timesheets, and the ability to accurately pinpoint areas my guys need to do extra work/specific work that gets relayed to them right away. Personally, I have not found a situation where Procore was not appropriate.
