Overall Satisfaction with Procore
The main capability we use Procore for is its Document Control feature. When it comes to dropping files and organizing the way files are structured, Procore is second to none. Being able to have the same file path for each customer we set up in Procore helps the sales team find files easily in Procore. This avoids a lot of confusion and having to figure out where files are.
Pros
- Document control.
- Drawing/editing tools.
- Navigation through Procore.
Cons
- Tasks module.
- Customization.
- Organization of files.
- Saves time accessing files.
- Quick uploading of files.
When we would have a client visit, utilizing the daily log feature has helped a lot. We use daily logs to help take notes and pictures on the fly. We're able to take down all their needs while we are walking the property, so this ensures that we are getting everything they want. This helps a lot so we don't have to rely on our memory when we get back to the desk.
We've used Microsoft SharePoint for document control, and it did work. We found that it started to lose its capability once we started creating more and more folders. This created more clutter in the SharePoint site so files were stored anywhere and everywhere. With Procore, we are able to keep it more structured and clean which makes storing and looking for files very simple.
