Overall Satisfaction with RingEX

RingEX allowed us to introduce a complete VOIP solution to our organization, using the embedded dialler within Microsoft Teams. Before joining RC, we had an archaic on-premises telephony infrastructure that was no longer fit for purpose. Because the system was so old, all in-house knowledge about how to run it was long gone. We were adjusting beyond adding or removing users who required outside help, which was expensive and often interrupted our staff’s workflows. RingEX has provided a sophisticated phone solution capable of supporting remote and on-campus employees while also providing advanced functionality, scalability with licensing, and, above all, a highly responsive and knowledgeable support team.

The self-service ticketing system and SR creation is extremely simple and intuitive to use. The online University resource is invaluable - we often find a resolution to our query through existing KBs, thus negating the need to even raise a new support request. On the occasions we have raised a new SR, the support staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The response times are some of the best I've ever experienced.
When we suddenly had to transition most of our staff to remote work, we took the quickest route to mobile communications – adding Microsoft Voice to the Teams environment our staff was already familiar with. RC has provided a sophisticated phone solution capable of supporting remote and on-campus employees while providing advanced functionality, scalability with licensing, and a highly responsive and knowledgeable support team. Every summer, after college-bound students have received their exam results, our business hosts a clearing period where students still seeking a spot at university can call our staff and inquire. With our old system, we had to route those calls through a laptop running Windows XP, and we hoped the system would hold together and students could reach us. RingEX has provided us with the ability to roll out new numbers almost instantly. When we set up our summer clearing program for the first time after implementing RingEX, that experience was unreal. We could buy a new 0800 for the program right in the admin portal, and it was instantly added to our account.
During the tender process, we met with several other vendors. During this phase, we realized that RingEX was the only vendor we were investigating, and it was its own telecom provider – instead of offering phone software running on someone else’s network. So, we figured, ‘Why not cut out the middleman and partner with a cloud communication provider that also knows how to run a phone network?' More than any other cloud communication vendor, RingEX seemed to understand what we wanted. They listened to our needs and came back with a proposed solution that proved they heard us. They never tried to sell us on bells and whistles they knew we didn’t need. That’s what you want in a tech partner.

1 With our old system, making changes like uploading an employee’s voicemail greeting or out-of-office message was a huge undertaking. It usually meant a call to our third-party consultants, a cost, and a wait. RingEX is so intuitive that users can now do those things themselves immediately, from the admin portal, wherever they are. These small things make our staff’s lives more accessible – and add up to more significant benefits for our organization. 2:Our Help Desk Manager oversees a team of university librarians as well as our first-line support engineers. Those teams are running much more efficiently and serving callers much more quickly and conveniently now that our manager can promptly set up new hunt groups or make fast changes to the order of which incoming calls are routed. Thanks to RingEX, we can serve our staff and students more effectively.
