HR Capabilities

We have not used any HR features in RUN Powered by ADP for our firm or for our clients so I do not have a comment for this question. I have heard good things about it, but so far, none of our clients have gone forward with it. We will continue to promote these services.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Run Powered By ADP on a daily basis for our own payroll and for the payroll of the 55+ accounts we manage. I like that it is a simple to use platform and it gives us notices about holidays that are coming up or if the system thinks that there is an error. It's also very helpful with our clients who are multistate because it helps us to ensure that we are in compliance.

Pros and Cons

Customer Service is exceptional. They respond quickly and are always kind.
The system is user friendly and it takes little time to learn the layout.
The employee onboarding is straightforward and we have the option of allowing the employee to do this themselves, which we like.

Downloading certain tax reports could be more simple
On the wholesale platform we are unable to chat with a live agent
It'd be nice if we're able to add the client's logo to the profile and pay stubs

Return on Investment

Our client list tripled in less than two years because current clients spoke positively of ADP
Since our client list tripled, so did our revenue which was a tremendous increase
ADP is one of the best in the market so when we're selling the payroll package to potential clients, they usually know who ADP is and they already have positive ideas about it

Employee Self-Service

The Employee Access portal is great and we all love it a lot. Employees are able to go in and confidentially change their personal information. It is less work that we have to take care of so we can focus on the bigger picture of the company. They are also able to go in and get their pay stubs and W2 without having to wait on us to send it to them.

RUN Powered by ADP is perfect for those small businesses that are starting with their business journey and don't need a lot of extra services. The system is straightforward and both easy to learn and easy to use. It's also great for those busy managers or owners because with the employee access, employees are able to go in and change their address or withholding status. This is less work for the Payroll manager and there's less room for error.
