Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Sage Intacct is being used throughout our organization as not only our financial accounting package but as our project management program. Intacct has greatly reduced the amount of time in preparing reports for our senior management staff.

Pros and Cons

Ease of reporting
Provide insights in vendor/accounts payable accounts

During the invoicing process, making corrections to time entries

Quickly provide reporting on activities within the company in real time

Sage Intacct Automation

We have not progressed to the point where we use a lot of the automation options available within Intacct.

Sage Intacct Extensibility

The multi-entity functionality has been wonderful. The ability to process AP bills for all entities at one time has saved time, which then opens up employees to take on other tasks.

Ease of Integration

Initial set-up and integration was a bit challenging (importing data from a prior system) as numerous changes had to take place along the way.

Alternatives Considered

Microsoft Dynamics GP

Company was looking for easier reporting methods.

Likelihood to Recommend

Sage Intacct provides wonderful reporting once the information is entered into the system; however, difficulties lie when making modifications or changes to data once it is in the system.
