Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We chose Sage for our accounting and reporting system mainly due to the ability of it to scale with our growth. We utilize it for accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and management reporting across all functions within the organization. It allows us to have constant information available to the team, as well as provides a great deal of flexibility as we continue to grow and shape our company from start-up to where we are now as a still quickly growing company. It also allows instant access for all users wherever we have an internet connection, which is critical for our teams in different locations and working remote.

- Sage has been a huge asset as we grow and further change and define our reporting and structure. The flexibility of the software has been key to our success of tracking and reporting at both the subsidiary and parent level.
The automation has been key to our growth, specifically in the accounts payable area. We have individuals at different locations entering and processing payroll. This has allowed us a great deal of efficiency, especially as compared to the manual process we were doing through our previous QuickBooks process that required a great deal of coordination. We also have individuals that are not experienced in accounting due to the nature of where we are as a start-up business and because the software is so intuitive we have been able to have these individuals up and running on the system efficiently with very little training.
We currently do not utilize these functions but anticipate implementing them in the future based off or our demo of those particular capabilities. We specifically would like to look at the automated AP function, along with the Sage budgeting tool, which will enhance our processes and efficiencies. This also includes the time and expense management module.
10. It was the smoothest and fastest implementation I have ever done. I did the entire implementation process by myself and was able to have Sage completely running in 30 days of beginning the process. The Sage Intacct implementation specialist was super helpful and drove the entire implementation and didn't sign off until I was completely okay with everything.
As a start-up, the cost of a system was very important to us, while also being able to grow as the company grows and not be a system we would have to replace as we got larger. Sage Intacct compared nicely to SAP Business One head to head and ultimately checked every box we had for a new accounting system.

COVID-19 Updates & Changes
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, our company did some work from home, but once the pandemic hit we were able to continue to operate normally within Sage with more people working from home. The pandemic really hasn't had an impact on our work within Sage since the system allows seamless work wherever you are located and that is one of the reasons we chose Sage over other options.
