Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We have been using Sage Intacct for just over 2 years now. The finance department uses the application across the organization. We utilize the accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, time and expense, cash management, fixed asset modules and have integrated with SAP Concur and Stampli. The past year, it has enabled our company to continue to work remotely as needed and we have been able to streamline our workflows and automate many of our previously manual processes.
- Integrates well with partner vendors.
- Reporting capabilities.
- Ability to have multi dimensions.
- Purchasing module can be unforgiving if you need to change the coding or add a line item to the purchase requisition.
- Error messages are difficult to decode.
- Building reports can be challenging as there are so many fields to select [from] and you don't always know if you chose the correct option until after running the report.
- Have saved us considerable time with the ability to automate many processes.

Whether you have been using Sage Intacct for years or are new to the product, there is always something that you can learn from the training they offer. I have taken several instructor-led and on-demand classes and find that there is always something new that I can take away from the course and apply to my job. The Sage Intacct Fundamentals course is the perfect course for anyone using Sage Intacct no matter what his/her experience level. The instructors are experts who explained the functionality and concepts clearly and concisely. I highly recommend that all Sage Intacct users take advantage of the training courses offered!

Both of these applications required customized APIs which is an additional cost. SAP Concur expense reports feed into Time and Expense in Sage Intacct which does not offer ACH payments. With the current state of the world being mostly remote and the US Postal service being extremely slow in mail delivery, this is not an ideal situation. Since Blackbaud CRM does not partner with Sage Intacct, we once again had to use a third-party vendor to assist with the API.
