Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Use mainly by Finance & Accounting for daily operation and financial reporting.
  • Flexibility in report designing.
  • Easy to navigate.
  • Drill down GL to the detail levels where you can easily identify the vendors with the expenses that they are associated with.
  • Be able to export reports based on the drill-down for analysis/budgeting purposes although the data may not be completed as some expenses are booked through an entry and there may be inconsistency in how the entries are entered.
  • Entries entered by staff in the draft mode waiting to be reviewed--prefer to show these entries when running GL detail reports. However, these entries will be displayed in the GL detail reports as 'Not Posted'. This way, we are allowing all entries to be reviewed and posted by the reviewer and not necessarily by the staff who enters the entries without first being reviewed, and yet they can still move on. Right now, if entries are not posted, they are now showing in GL, and harder for staff to move on with entering other entries.
  • Not easy to find step-by-step guide when you need a quick answer.
  • We have many prepaid items. Would like to be able to generate all the schedules in [Sage] Intacct to post monthly and yet email alerting us in advance if it will be fully amortized in a month.
  • To be able to make private or non-public your account groups/groups of account groups, similar to the financial reports you are working on as these reports may not need to be shown and seen by everyone else as it gets cloudy and harder to find things if they are shown on everybody else's listed items.
  • Allowing us to view different GL detail reports (for example) simultaneously in different tabs for display and view only and not necessary download/print them.
  • When downloading the excel, the message displayed 'Downloading....' appears to be super small and hard to see.
  • Allowing to color format the report Header, especially the financial reports as some companies would like to be able to run reports with color format. This way, I don't have to manually color-format the headers.
  • Quick turn around in financial report running. Wait time for reports to be generated are less. Great!
  • Building reports are not as easy as much other software I have used. I feel less efficient sometimes.
  • Manually modifications are needed sometimes to make the reports more presentable, in terms of font, appearance, and format. I feel less efficient sometimes.
We only use GL, AP and AR as well as cash management, as far as I know. We use BNA for fixed assets and Adaptive for budgeting, Yooz for AP workflow approvals. Would have been nice if all are run under [Sage] Intacct. PO for our office is tracked in excel. Would be nice if it can function fully through [Sage] Intacct. Inventory is something I would like to explore in the near future, its features and functionality.
[Sage] Intact was already in used when I joined the company.
