Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We use Sage Intacct for the financial statement preparation for hundreds of nursing homes. We use the system to report the payroll expenses, revenue and AR, and the AP expenses but the modules that we use most frequently are the AP and Cash Management. Those modules are user-friendly and facilitate the review and reconciliation of the items. The other module we use a lot that is most helpful for our clients is the Reports module which with its customization features is able to deliver all their requests.
Pros
- Custom Reporting
- Bank Reconciliation
- Custom Report Grouping and Scheduling
Cons
- Accounts Receivable Posting
- Recurring Transactions
- Reconciliations find errors fast
- Reporting allows finding of missing items
These automations allow for quick and efficient reporting allowing for time to be focused on analysis and customer service. The AP billposting and check payments are what I use most and they are fast and easy to use. It's also great how you get to see how the AP transactions are hitting General Ledger from the AP transactions page.
I do not use any of these modules.
Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?
Not sure
Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?
Yes
Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?
Yes
Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy Sage Intacct again?
Yes
I think QuickBooks is for dummies and for regular bookkeepers. It does not have the same reconciliations and error checking and error-free proofing that Sage Intacct provides. On the same note, Intacct is a bit more complex to use but once trained in and working with the system for some time the processes become second nature.
