Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We went live with Sage Intacct in Oct 2021. It made our work easier in many ways. You can edit the error by going into the posted batches instead of creating [a] new batch entry for each correction. Also, using it is easy and the help and support feature is pretty intuitive. We use it for AP, AR, and all other accounting functions except payroll.
  • General ledger entries [that provide] separation for AP, AR, payroll, and general journal [are] great for organization purposes.
  • [An] audit trail [for] each [transaction] is very helpful for internal control and yearly audits.
  • [The] user rights and permissions feature is very helpful when you want to assign certain permission to use [for] maintaining the internal controls.
  • [The] document attachment feature [is] very [conducive in] reducing the paper cost in office and the storage costs out of office.
  • [The] bank reconciliation auto-matches with uploaded bank statements saves a lot of time.
  • If we [could] enter different date transactions in one transaction, it would be helpful [and] then we [wouldn't] have to open a new entry for every two-line transaction entry [since] all [could] be added into one entry.
  • Positive: saves time, storage costs, and server costs [thanks to going paperless and] attachments in each module.
  • Automation: emails can be [sent] out directly from the system for invoices, etc.
  • Negative: would not allow [for] customization of [checks] and EFT without [an] added cost.
Yes, we did by emailing invoices directly from the system, adding the backup of payments received, and [utilizing] journal entries in the system.
It is easy [as you] can dig into the details of transactions from the general ledger.

Yes

We were using the Sage 300 before. We moved to Sage Intacct because of the budgeting and reporting feature we [had] heard [about] from [one of] our partners.
It is suitable for all-size organizations as it is very user-friendly.
