Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct at the heart of our operation. All sales are done using Intacct. We also use it for stock availability. This makes Quoting/Invoicing very easy as we do not need to rely on our warehouse for constant stock counts of individual line items. Further than these features we can also use Intacct for internal messaging which is very valuable when our logistics department has loaded new shipments into the system which the sales team can then begin selling.
  • Quotes
  • Invoices
  • Support
  • Stock availability when checking item codes before entering the item into the quote/invoice.
  • More detailed descriptions of the item before entering the item into the quote/invoice.
  • Community messages more user friendly - "Mark all messages as read"
  • Quoting and Invoicing takes slightly longer to process compared to Sage One
  • Seeing other branch stock availability is very useful
  • Built in community messenger is very nice to have in one place.
Some of the aspects of this make life for the accounts department much easier however sometimes the automations do add extra work for the accounts department because the accounts department are required to double check inputted information much more carefully in order to prevent the automation from making massive mistakes as a result of slightly incorrect information.
I do not use any sets of these financial capabilities as my company is not at this level yet.
The implementation of Sage Intacct has been a long process. We would never have been able to do this within the business. The vendor has been required to spend almost every single day at the office with us during implementation because of the many many features that have needed to be custom tailored for us in order to function.
Sage Intacct is much better than Sage One in many ways. Sage One did not have the option for multiple branches. Sage One did not have built in communities for messaging specific departments. Sage One had a very user friendly dashboard which made viewing sales reports on graphs very easy. Sage Intacct requires many permissions to be granted and extras to be paid to allow for such features.

Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?

Yes

Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?

No

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

No

Intacct is great for growing businesses with many branches and possible branches to be opened in the future. It really allows teams to communicate well together in the company using the internal community features.
Most of the issues experienced thus far have mainly been as a result of implementation misunderstandings.
