Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is being used for reporting the data out of our BW system. It is being used by the Finance department. It makes it very easy for users to run the reports. Being on cloud, the administration for my team is also easy. Also, the live data makes it very useful.

When you want to use reporting on cloud without administering the system on-premise, SAP Analytics Cloud is most suited. Since the administration and security is done at the cloud, it is most suited when you want these functions on the cloud. It is not suited when the data set is very very large (in terabytes).
