Overall Satisfaction with SAP Business Technology Platform
We just began implementing SAP IBP this year - we’re still in early stages, but the tool looks promising. It’s easy for my small but mighty team to learn & manage their complex businesses. We’ve gone from managing a few hundred SKUs weekly to thousands since using the tool, with a higher efficacy & higher touch than before.
- Flexible, configurable for preferences/needs
- Level of granularity - SKU-location is super detailed
- Sophisticated methodology
- Edge cases need work - but catches about 60% of cases
- UI is not super intuitive, especially for users like us who are accustomed to using Excel
- Seamlessly integrates with larger item master data
- Flexibility / configurability
- Scaled our processes to wider reach (I.e., better management of significantly more SKUs with the same workforce)
- Increased forecast accuracy
Seemed to cover all of the use cases across the business in one integrated platform
