Overall Satisfaction with SAP Concur
We use SAP Concur for travel and OOP expenses. This allows for a single place for booking travel and reimbursement for personal expenses.
- Booking all travel including flights, hotels, rental cars and other transportation.
- Reimbursement for personal out of pocket expenses.
- Makes monthly approval of expenses incredibly easy on the manager
- I honestly cannot find an area that causes me heartache. I have used many other products over the years with other organizations but breathe a sigh of relief when I come on and Concur is part of the onboarding process. Most other products are incredibly painful.
- I cannot speak to the exact financial impact but everyone spends less time booking travel and dealing with expense management. Quality of life is just overall better.
There’s a good chance I’m suffering from PTSD from using the other products because I cannot recall the names. My previous two employers used a manual process including Excel spreadsheets and another an in-house built application. Both were excruciatingly painful when expense time rolled around. Typically I’d spend up to 4 hours at the end of the month putting together expense reports. Now they’re done on the fly during the month and I simply submit within minutes at the end of the month.
We’re integrated with SAP which makes financial reporting easier.
Again, quality of life is much better. Especially for those of us with direct reports or those who travel regularly.
The process is far and away simpler and less taxing on the end user.
