Overall Satisfaction with SAP Customer Data Solutions

Any marketing organisation has the same issue: a lot of customer data, many sources, many touchpoints and it is very hard to aggregate that information in one place. So, of course, we had the same issue and needed help. SAP Customer Data Solutions was the software we needed to take our customer journey to the next level.

  • Brought a lot of efficiency to the processes

  • The design could be improved
  • In comparison to other competitors, can be more expensive to aqire
  • We were able to discover that a segment of our clients preferred a specific type of landing pages so we were able to deploy more appropriated landing pages, improving our conversion metrics - which was great!
In comparison to other similar tools, SAP Customer Data Solutions's availability was ok but not perfect. Also, when trying to communicate these issues with the support team, took them a bit of time to answer. Specially for a team in Portugal, the responsiveness was critical and took a tool on us.
A better integration with out database was the key factor that led our decision to move forward with this tool. Keeping in mind that it was more costly, we knew that it would be a safe bet, would bring a more data-driven culture to our team, the capacity to create laser focused campaigns.

- Integrating the tool with our databases went very smoothly. This tends to be an issue in the market because these kind of tools tend to be very complex;
- The user experience sometimes is not the most intuitive so can take a but of time to fully grasp it
