Overall Satisfaction with SAP Customer Data Solutions

In our company we help our customers to adapt SAP Customer Data Solutions to their own needs. This includes setting up the solution, defining use cases (from acquiring customer data on end-user websites to communicate this informations to downstream platforms), verify legal and privacy requirements and finally deploying it. The usual systems involved are websites, marketing platforms, CDPs and CRMs.
  • The CIAM solution offers a single point of collections for registered users, streamlined on all websites configured
  • Social access is made easy since it's handled directly by the CIAM and supports more than 50 social networks
  • GDPR and similar laws are handled out-of-the-box
  • Reporting is simplified, but exporting data to more specialized systems is extremely easy
  • Advanced user queries requires knowlegde of API/SQL-like language
  • The deployment and version control for all configurations is basic, but works
  • Having a single, stremlined point of entry for the customers improves the overall customer experience
  • By the same reason, maintenance costs are reduced because interventions focus on a single object
  • It's versatile in its integration so there is no need to change the surrounding software ecosystem
In almost 4 years of adoption of the solution on big players worldwide, we only had one major incident (due to a facebook outage) that was promply solved by SAP. SAP also always send notifications regarding critical changes that may require your attention, usually with enough time to take any decision regarding how to approach the possible issue.
SAP Customer Data Solutions differs from many of his competitors since it's the only solution which provides an end-to-end approach that starts directly from the website integration (which is not demanded to whoever manages your website but it's integrated directly), and provides all the functionality a standard IAM/CIAM can offer.
