Overall Satisfaction with SAP HANA

We use SAP HANA for real-time/Streaming analytics. This solution is being used at three business units currently and we are planning to expand to the next three units in the next few months. SAP HANA has been a great pick for our needs and it lived up to our expectations.
  • SAP HANA' multicore technology increases performance optimization
  • One amazing feature with SAP HANA is that you can run update queries on the combined data sources in real-time, with updates being written back to the remote source. This has saved me a lot of time.
  • Data snapshots are done that creates the system backup.
  • Easily Access, manipulate spatial data with SAP HANA.
  • As many say, this solution is quite expensive compared to others.
  • Implementation time is quite long. Most of the time it is due to dependencies.
  • Positive: The real-time analytics worked really well, as a result, we were able to get insights that were of real value.
  • Negative: The money that was invested is quite high, I believe in the long run we will reap the full benefits of the tool.
SAP HANA as a solution works real good. We chose mainly for real time/streaming analytics and it works well.
Overall support is really good. On the technical front or customer service front, the support received was really good. Also, there are a lot of well-written articles/blogs/documents on sap.com that will help the users to work with the tool easily.
