SAP make the work flow smoothly and easier, and once you learn all required transactions which you need and make everything single details under control, it covered whole business requirements

As I am working on HANA platform of SAP. it's easy to learn, use and fact findings. Operations in PP module which i worked on are easy to learn and data collection.

  • There are some loopholes there by which some problems appears, may be different usage in different modules, as i am working on PP module but we lack sometime with linkage of MM module.

  • There are some problems find during release of process order. It must be released and batch determination in one go automatically. But we lack on that and release of Process order rejected due to that. May be user specific or lack of data in MM module for that perticular RM, PM, or used items.
After almost a decade SAP Cloud Integration has matured over the past couple of years. The strategy followed is really clear. Appealing is the fact the SAP has released its strategy to place all integration components into different tenants, each with its own contract and has now brought everything in a single form. Strengths from a technical point of view are its mapping capabilities and out-of-the-box connections with other SAP solutions. The latter being a point of weakness as well, since customers are purchasing other solutions as well
Version management is not up to industry standards and is lacking features. Tagging and Relase processes are very basic. You need to come up with a versioning scheme for your external APIs to ensure Users using the latest release and not a dev release. Development itself and data mapping and transformation is top. As always with SAP licensing is a little bit an issue, but solvable. With over 1 year of productive integrations with CPI we can say that we have had a very positve experience when it comes to stability and performance within CPI. When taking heavy coding in Groovy the debugging capabilties are up to standards. Although you should use a full IDE for that
