Overall Satisfaction with SeekOut
I use SeekOut to identify candidates I wish to incorporate into my organization's hiring process, to communicate with those candidates, and to follow up on those communications with further outreach. I treat the tool as both a discovery and relationship management program. This program provides me a more user-friendly alternative to sourcing than Linkedin Recruiter, with additional functionality I find helpful - particularly regarding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (I.E. finding candidates from historically underrepresented identity groups).
Pros
- Its user interface is efficient and looks better than competitors
- Its DE&I filters are top-notch
- Its messaging tools are effective
Cons
- The tool needs to find a way to integrate with LinkedIn
- Improved sourcer/recruter experience
- Progress in DE&I outreach/hiring goals
I absolutely hated using Beamery and find it to be a waste of my organization's money. Why use something that's purely a messaging tool/CRM when you can use something like SeekOut which has SO much more additional functionality?
Additionally, I prefer SeekOut even to the premier industry tool, Linkedin Recruiter. It's got a better interface and better filtering.
