Overall Satisfaction with SeekOut

I use SeekOut to identify candidates I wish to incorporate into my organization's hiring process, to communicate with those candidates, and to follow up on those communications with further outreach. I treat the tool as both a discovery and relationship management program. This program provides me a more user-friendly alternative to sourcing than Linkedin Recruiter, with additional functionality I find helpful - particularly regarding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (I.E. finding candidates from historically underrepresented identity groups).

  • Its DE&I filters are top-notch
  • Its messaging tools are effective
  • The tool needs to find a way to integrate with LinkedIn
  • Improved sourcer/recruter experience
  • Progress in DE&I outreach/hiring goals
I find my company's SeekOut representative to be extremely thorough, helpful and engaging. She holds regular office hours with our team and is quick to both point us in the direction of better utilizing the tool as it is, and passing along feedback to the SeekOut team when we reach impassable roadblocks with the tool.
I absolutely hated using Beamery and find it to be a waste of my organization's money. Why use something that's purely a messaging tool/CRM when you can use something like SeekOut which has SO much more additional functionality?

Additionally, I prefer SeekOut even to the premier industry tool, Linkedin Recruiter. It's got a better interface and better filtering.

I find the tool very well suited to most of the workflows I need to execute as someone in a Sourcing role (aka, the person who works with candidates from initial outreach through the middle stages of a hiring process). I could even see a use case for folks outside of Talent Acquisition functions who just wish to find quality leads (for sales, etc.).

I wouldn't recommend SeekOut for folks who work only on the later stages of a hiring process.
