Overall Satisfaction with Seismic

Seismic was used by both internal sellers across the whole organizations and we made it available to sellers at our partner (reseller) organizations. We implemented Seismic to eliminate the tribal knowledge barrier as well as dozens if not hundreds of product-specific SharePoint sites with TONS of outdated content. We solved for the single source of sales news challenge we had for our globally distributed sales organization.
  • Curating content.
  • Available via cloud and on mobile devices.
  • Trackability of customer views of content.
  • Search results could be challenging; too many results returned overwhelmed users.
  • Walk-Me guides!!! Seriously...
  • Can be steep learning curve if not in the tool every day.
  • Aligned everyone to ONE platform.
  • Aligned partners to the same selling priorities as our internal sellers; let's all sell X.
I didn't work directly with our Support team at Seismic, but from what I heard from the administrators, it left a lot to be desired.

We used it to ensure our partners had access to the same selling content we made available to our sellers. We valued our partners and wanted them to feel they were as important to us as our sellers were. We wanted an even playing field and Seismic allowed us to demonstrate that by using the same platform for both audiences.
