Overall Satisfaction with Similarweb PRO

We actively use SimilarWeb for a variety of tasks: competitor traffic monitoring, keyword and traffic trends, identifying Affiliate/partnership opportunities are just some of the use cases.
  • Popular Pages - see detailed trends of what pages, products, content etc. are trending on competitor's websites.
  • Desktop and Mobile traffic analysis - benchmark ourselves Vs competitors and help estimate the total market and trends.
  • App data usage has been still a bit patchy, particularly for iOS devices - this might just be industry specific and not a wider issue though.
  • Monitoring competitor's traffic
  • Popular Pages
  • Keyword Analysis
  • Popular pages has been a great way to identify what products are trending on our competitor's websites and how can we respond accordingly e.g. do we have the right range of products to compete.
Semrush is great for keyword and link building research and analysis, but it's traffic estimates for websites can be quite inaccurate in comparison to Similarweb.

Analysing traffic of competitors and the market in general is a definite must for all SimilarWeb users. Although a limiting factor can be you can analyse up to five websites at a time, an easy workaround is to have two (or more) separate competitor sets built that can be run weekly and pulled into a external environment e.g. Sheets or Excel. This is a great way to understand week on week, month on month and year on year trends, particularly in the current volatile trading environment.
