Overall Satisfaction with Skuid
We use Skuid to build custom interfaces that our customers and other end-users engage with. It is used across our entire organization and is a very powerful tool because it allows for admins to build custom pages without requiring any code. It is a very robust solution, and allows us to render components based on logical criteria, which allows for a better experience. When Skuid is mixed with CSS and HTML, it becomes a very hearty solution. I highly recommend Skuid for any use cases that require custom interfacing.
- Hosting data from multiple objects into one single UI.
- Conditional rendering.
- UI component drag and drop builder.
- Release management. Whenever a new version of Skuid is released, upgrading can be a dubious task.
- Support. Skuid does not offer standard support. Instead, you will be required to use the Skuid community or purchase engineering hours.
- It has had a positive impact because it allows us to build custom interfaces that our customers engage with.
- It has shortened our overall process for new customer onboarding and orientation.
- It has decreased our number of manual tasks, and the time that internal users are requiring to perform while empowering customer users.
I have not used any of the alternatives. I can only speak to the power of Skuid, but I am very familiar with developer roles, and to be able to replicate what Skuid can do using Apex would require a tremendous amount of resources up front to develop custom interfaces.
