Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used SolarWinds Netflow Traffic Analyzer to monitor our traffic across a geographically diverse company. We rely heavily on on our internet facing applications and being able to monitor them is critical to fixing issues. Netflow monitoring has worked well for our organization.

We are actually switching away from SolarWinds because it was overly complicated to maintain and the sales department is way too pushy and overwhelming with calls and emails.

Support Rating

Support isn't very good. You can pay quite a bit for additional services but they do not provide a lot of general support or setup help.

We used SolarWinds to monitor our netflow traffic. The product works good but can be a bit of a pain to set up and floods you with too much info if using the defaults. With a good setup from the start it is a handy product.
