Overall Satisfaction with Spiff

Spiff has been used by our company as well as our parent company to help calculate our commission and bonus plans that we have implemented. We have a relatively complex commission structure and Spiff allows for everything to be set up and ingested properly so that our teams can see and verify their commissions with ease.
  • Great visuals and historical data
  • Allows for complex commission structures to be implemented with more ease
  • You can manage your direct teams in Spiff, which is great
  • I do think the user interface, while it looks nice, could be a bit more intuitive. It isn't bad, but there were some things that seemed like I should be able to click on them to access info and that wasn't the case.
  • While things are organized with the breakdown of commission, I think it could still be cleaned up a little bit better to be more visually friendly.
  • Maybe I haven't gotten deep enough into it, but it would be great to see certain metrics on particular areas of the commission plan, like how often my team is hitting 33% of their target by x date (we have a kicker in place for pacing goal over the quarter).
  • It helps turn complicated spreadsheets to calculate a complex commission structure into an easy-to-read visual format for my team.
  • The ROI on this is less time that I'm having to live in spreadsheets now to do these calculations.

Overall it is very easy to use the platform and visualize your personal and your team's commission numbers. While I'm generally a proponent of keeping commission structures easy and not complicated, the current company has decided to go the route to make it very complicated and I'm thankful to have Spiff to help with the ease of this.
