Overall Satisfaction with Spiff

My main use for Spiff is to understand my commission payouts for complex deals with different kickers. I also use it to track my prorated quota changes (if territory changes) and also if I split a deal with someone, how my accelerators might be affected towards the end of the year.
  • Ease of submitting tickets.
  • UI is much better than our previous tool.
  • I really like the incentive trend widget that keeps me competitive!
  • When I click a closed deal, I should be able to submit a ticket within the deal. Right now it makes me add the title etc. which doesn't tie back to the deal (seems manual).
  • There are a lot of unnecessary fields within the deal.
  • Right now the platform isn't integrating well with our platform so I'm having to enter a lot of tickets.
  • Increased transparency for sure
  • Still needs tighter integration so that I can submit less tickets but I don't think that's on Spiff
  • Would like to see more gamification like the widget of incentive trend
I'll give it a 9 because it's great for everything I need except, I would like to be able to plug in potential deals that haven't closed yet to see the payout.
I think it's definitely increased the trust. I will say it's really the same data that I had available with our last platform the dashboard and really the UI make it much easier to follow and understand.
The UI is by far better and easier to use that Exactly. Again, the data was there with Exactly but for us as sales reps to truly feel like we have trust in our commissions, it needs to be easy to follow and understand.

The biggest thing I've noticed that it really helps me is when it comes to getting into my accelerator territory once I've achieved plan. It's easy to keep up where I'm at from a quota perspective but the payout for accelerators is very specific. For example, if I split a few deals with other reps throughout the year, it helps me keep track of when those accelerators would truly kick in.
