Submittable is a Must for Grant Makers
Overall Satisfaction with Submittable
We use Submittable to run multiple grant programs that range significantly in size and application pool. We don't know of another platform out there that creates great online applications and then application review and scoring mechanisms that are also easily assigned to other partners/reviewers. Not only is it an efficient way to handle applications, it's secure -- since we ask for financial data with some programs, and there are also lots of reporting options with the platform that serve us well, especially for reporting to our funders.

Cons
- I hope they are developing a feature where correspondance to applicants can come from our organization's website and not Submittable's
- We'd like a more robust integration with DocuSign where forms can be populated with a range of fields and executed documents can easily be saved to the appropriate application file
- Submittable has improved the applicant experience because it provides such a clean and streamlined interface for applicants
- Submittable saves us lots of time and stress, again, because we can easily assign colleagues or partners to applications to help score and review applications and because all the financial and privacy data we collect the platform are securely stored.
Overall our grantees are pleased with the processes we have created with all of our grant programs and we know this is largely due to our adoption of Submittable.

Yes, we were running our largest application program by far and needed immediate answers or we were going to face some serious backlash from our funder and applicants, and Blake and Amanda immediately made time and came prepared to walk us through all our options for troubleshooting some information we had to go back and collect from applicants.
