Overall Satisfaction with Tableau Desktop

PointClickCare is an IT software product company and leading provider of cloud-based EHR platforms for the long-term health care industry. We use Tableau Desktop as part of the business intelligence and analytics suite of the EHR product. Tableau is used to massage the data and produce dynamic, user-interactive reports for PointClickCare.

I am in complete agreement with the detailed Gartner Report. From a completeness of vision [standpoint], QlikView and Microsoft BI may have gotten a few steps ahead. However, from an implementation standpoint and ease of use, Tableau Desktop takes the cake. It's very easy for a non IT person to build a report from scratch merely by drag and drop. What is better than self-serve BI and Analytics? Questions are getting answered at the speed at which they are getting asked. Tableau can enable that.
Tableau Desktop gets most of the data analytics and reporting tasks done 100 fold times better than Excel and many fold times better than their closest competition in business intelligence and analytics.

Yes - Tableau Mobile has been recently launched. It allows Tableau Desktop like features on smartphones/tablets allowing the user to edit/tweak reports on the fly while using smart devices.
