Tableau Online is our major method of delivering our product to our clients, integrating our data and analytics. For example, we utilize it to assist us in analyzing our quarterly, yearly, and long-term objectives and metrics. Because it doesn't require a team of engineers to construct a custom solution, it's the most important business problem it solves for our company.

Pros and Cons

A wide range of databases may be seamlessly integrated.
Regardless of the device you use to access it, the look and feel are first-rate.
Displaying complicated data visualizations with a wide range of possibilities for interactivity for the end-user.

Only a few features are available for export.
License fees and the intricacy of the structure.
The processing time required to perform filtering on huge datasets might be prohibitive.

Return on Investment

To save money, we don't need to engage a staff of developers to produce our product.
Using it, we've been able to keep tabs on important corporate KPIs, identify problems and develop workarounds through effective data analysis.

SAP ERP

When weighing the pros and cons of Tableau Online vs. SAP ERP, two key considerations emerged as clear winners. SAP ERP is a powerful data purification tool, but it doesn't measure up to the competition in terms of data presentation. When it came to data visualization and analytics, Tableau was our go-to tool. The price is the second consideration. Tableau, on the other hand, was the more cost-effective option for our requirements.

Usability

Based on comments from our clients, I awarded it this grade. Non-technical customers frequently compliment us on the ease with which they can utilize Tableau Online. Usability is rarely a source of contention amongst our customers. Few complaints have come from me as a user of our internal products.

Support Rating

As soon as a problem with the system arises, customer service responds quickly to alert us and keep us up to date on the situation. I can't remember a time when the Tableau Online Support hasn't been able to help us in a timely manner when we've had problems with our system.

Likelihood to Recommend

We just need to refresh our data once a day for our unique use case, which allows the complete online system to run on extracts. For us, this is critical because our daylight hours are spent focusing on new updates and implementations rather than worrying about excessive database traffic (which would be required with a direct connection to the online system). The process of importing extracts is straightforward and sturdy enough to handle massive amounts of data.
