Overall Satisfaction with TextMagic

I wanted to add an SMS list to promote our special event fundraiser with mission Costumes Community Causes. I had never used an SMS service before so did some research and found TextMagic. As a small startup business, I needed the most cost-effective solution to try. TextMagic was the perfect solution for us It is very easy to use and keep marketing costs low while reaching customers that do not want to read email and do not see our social media posts. It was really easy to add the collector to our GoDaddy website. My customers can add themselves or I can upload the signups from the events that we hold. I definitely recommend this if you want to add SMS text campaigns to your marketing.
  • Easy to upload sign ups from tradeshows we attend.
  • I like the ability to respond the their texts back to me to hold a conversation.
  • I like the billing structure with auto balance.
  • The scheduling feature and cost calculation is very helpful.
  • Easy to learn to use.
  • It would be nice to add a picture to show up as part of the text. It only lets you add a link to a picture.
  • When uploading new contacts by pasting, it didn't enter the names correctly. So I had to delete the new entries and upload as csv which worked correctly.
  • Have not found any other issues with TextMagic.
  • Great price. Can keep cost low by choosing length of text.
  • Easy to add new contacts.
  • Easy for customers to unsubscribe.
  • The chat feature is useful to interact with customers that text back to you.
  • I think the SMS service contact to our customers has helped us reach those that would not read our email or see posts on social media.
  • It is a great way to send quick reminders when an event is happening.
  • It is nice to give customers another option on how to receive information on our events.
This was the first product that we tried. I selected it because it had the best value for sending texts out to customers. I liked the trial feature and some discounts on buying credits. Since then, I like the easy to auto-refill the balance so I don't have to worry about adding to it. I love the name too!

TextMagic is a wonderful solution for small businesses or non-profits just adding an SMS text service to their marketing outreach program. Very easy to set up and use. Customers seem to like SMS as a method of communication. Easily lets you keep in touch with them at a very nominal cost. Immediate feedback if they respond to your text on the dashboard through chat.

Using TextMagic

1 - I am the owner, principal, president and all-around gopher for our small business. I take care of all the marketing and graphic design as well as social media campaigns for our event promotion service. Using this to help expand our reach to let people know about our Faery-ball.com special immersive events on the MS Gulf Coast.
1 - Very easy to use TextMagic. Anyone with basic computer skills can use TextMagic. If someone can send emails, type a document with Word or even post on social media they can use TextMagic. Interface is very easy to use. I have not had to use much of the search features to answer my questions.
  • Easy to add another way to connect to customers in your marketing plan.
  • Some customers do not read email so we needed another way to reach them and stay in contact, TextMagic was perfect.
  • SMS alerts gives us another immediate way to connect with customers that does not rely on social media platform.
I am very happy with how TextMagic is working. I don't see a reason to spend time searching for another solution when this works great at a good price. Customers have shown a good response to the text messages we have send. Very small percentage unsubscribed (but that was automated/easy).

I was looking for a low-cost way to try out text marketing. TextMagic had the good intro pricing to see how it worked. I have been pleasantly surprised that customers are responding well to SMS text notices too. Has been easy to use and add new contacts from my other lists from trade shows.
It all worked out well so wouldn't need to change anything. When I looked again it seems this is still the lowest cost solution to be able to send the smaller numbers of texts that we send out with our marketing. We send every 2 weeks. We have not had that many that unsubscribed, but that was easy to do as well and automated.

Using TextMagic

It has been very easy to use TextMagic to set up. The calculator showing character count which relates to cost is easy to see and adjust. The scheduling portion is also easy to set up and edit if needed. You can see history to copy wording if you need to. I have suggested to other friends that do not have a text service.
