Overall Satisfaction with Trust Swiftly

We use it for our know your customer process. It is a competitive product for our issues which is in a advanced marketplace. We deal with customers worldwide and needed something that can work fast. Everyday our customer support team will use the product to identify different risky scenarios. Then this tool can tell us who is good vs bad. When starting out it was critical to understand each of our problems so we had to meet with their team to custom create a list of verifications that we needed. Our business spans multiple countries and lots of different products so each one was unique.

Here are some more use case and problems we can address:
  • Customers using proxy and vpn
  • Customers using fake credit cards
  • Customers sending fake billing addresses
  • Age maniuplation with photoshop
  • Driver license scanning for address lookup
  • Spam prevention with the email verification
  • Country restriction with the phone verification

In the end it was critical to use Trust Swiftly to solve some of our fraud problems as well as increase customer sign ups. Different language support was important for us to since the tool was able to support customers in regions such as Europe.
  • I like that everything is sent to us quickly and the results are easy to understand. There are clear outlines of everything checked such as AI results on the authenticity of documents. We can aso see duplicate user checks and block repeat verifications if they are not up to our requirements.
  • We like the pricing too and think its very competitive to the other solutions we looked at. There is a pay as you go model so this worked with us when we first started. After increasing usage we signed up to one of their plans.
  • The UI is easy to understand and the process to setup was quick. The fast setup was critical so we could expand regions. Each time we onboarded new customer support to the admin they had no trouble getting used to the solution.
  • Sometimes different IDs don't get all information extracted so we have to retry. it adds little extra steps. If the customer sends a blurry document or too small or dark there is trouble getting all the information. Its helpfult to have the steps clear to them before starting.
  • Our customers don't like to send their ID and selfie as it adds some friction. Having backup methods for these cases was important so they could always add more things.
  • Their availability for our offshore team could be better for support. We needed our Europe team to setup some calls but it was hard at first to find good times.
  • More customers signup with us now that there is less setup time for their accounts. the onboarding process is much faster. The flow for verifications has been better and can help us get going when we need to use it most.
  • Our budget was lower and the roi took only a month or two then we started seeing savings from increased customer acquistions. We made sure each budget was adjusted according to the rate of signups and season.
  • Our main business objective has been international expansion and the tool made us confident we could do it safely. We felt it was a good fit.
We tried Ondato for awhile but it became too diffcult to setup. There was too much involvement with developers and coding. we decided to do a no code solution with trust swiftly which worked fast. The best part about switching is they even helped on our migration over with the right settings and the right checks for us. Other tools had limited ways to use the product from just the dashboard without getting heavy coding intergrations. Their tool allowed direct emails and sms notifications too saving any changes on our end. i.e. we could send from our own branding.

The other thing is they were not really supportive with our company when we tried to talk to their support. It took over a week just to get some answers from them. We wanted a comapny that had lots of experience and could put the attention to the issues we faced. Trust Swiftly was the one where they setup almost everything for us and then made sure to keep changing anything when we wanted it. The solution had all the bells and whistles we needed so it made it a top choice for our team.

The product is good for companies like us that have Zero KYC program. There was a way we could increase the security of our platform with not much added cossts or time to setup. This allowed us to deploy quickly. So if you are company that needs protection fast then this tool can be best selection for online businesses. You need to properly use this tool for some customers and not all. We realized we couldnt always do verifications due to added fricition so we had to decide what was worth it to us versus not using it. Lastly you should have understanding of the fraud and scammers that are on your service.

Well suited for businsses that have a fraud and technical team to properly deploy the tool. We were overloaded with so many things that we missed so it really takes a dedicated person to understand the tool and setup properly. We ended up just paying for some consulting and having their team walk us through extra support.

Evaluating Trust Swiftly and Competitors

Yes - We used Onfido prior to Trust Swiftly and wanted a easier to manage option. It was fast and better for our overall budget. Took less time from sales to implementing it live. The main issue was just getting started with Onfido and some other products. We had a tight deadline to get the product intergrated so we made sure this solution worked fast. It paid off as we could expand quickly and get going.

The amount of integrations on Trust Swiftly is pretty impressive. We could setup our own AWS S3 connection. We could use our own mailing brand and almost every tool they have is available with a bring your own API key. We had a Stripe account too that worked with their tool. Having this flexibiltiy was huge for our team since we wanted to keep everything secure and within our own accounts. The ease to do this all was pretty simple and with a switch of button we had the tool connected with our systems.
I would have searched more for what defines a good ID platform with all the extra features and talked to people that actually used the product vs relying just on the sales team. We learned 10x more by using each of the products and vendors and when we actually sat down with their teams we could see more differences. Having the flexibility to select multiple products helps but we made the decision quick once we used the acutal products.
