Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Vendors

We have struggled to have our customers share all the great work that we do for them due to legal and time constraints but TrustRadius made it possible and easy. With customers looking to peer reviews to make purchasing decisions, using TrustRadius as a third-party unbiased vendor was a great solution for us! I head up marketing and work closely with the sales team; therefore this program is managed by me, but sales and management were involved in helping drive reviews.

Pros

  • Third-party credibility allows for customers to trust them and know that they are getting unbiased opinions
  • TrustRadius runs email campaigns and incentive programs to help drive reviews so it's not solely up to the client to drive reviews
  • TrustRadius provides a dedicated project manager that keeps me on task and reminds me of deadlines so that I don't miss a beat

Cons

  • My only suggestion for area of improvement is to pay attention to busy schedules and recognize that TrustRadius is not always the number one priority and adjust accordingly.

We are still building our TrustRadius Library with reviews and ratings but so far we have seen a great impact in customer validation of our solution stack. We plan to continue to use their services as we build out marketing collateral and continue to enhance our website.
We've used TrustQuotes Library and are working on the web syndication piece. We did not find any alternative vendor offerings specific to the IT space.
Content has been great! Several customers have chosen not to be anonymous and have provided valuable information that we can use for sales and marketing.
Case studies are always a popular marketing collateral requested by management and sales. TrustRadius was an efficient tool to grow testimonials and offered several ways in which to use valuable quotes from our customers.
TrustRadius is basically the Yelp of IT. I know it's cheesy to say but behind every B (business) there is a C (consumer) and marketing departments of B2B customers often forget that. TrustRadius is a perfect solution to drive case studies/testimonials from clients without going through legal and then you can use those testimonials through the TrustQuotes library to display on marketing materials or syndication to put on your website.

It's so satisfying to hear that the permission management we've built into TrustRadius has helped you overcome the legal barriers and time constraints to scaling customer proof. You mention the value of getting customers on the record publicly with their review. Site-wide on TrustRadius, 67% of reviewers opt to remain public and 33% opt for an anonymous display (the TrustRadius Research team knows who they are, but we guard their info). Sovereign Systems results are likely in line with this benchmark, but I would encourage you to check on this with your Customer Success Manager. We're happy to explore ways to encourage more public participation, while recognizing that some users are only willing to participate anonymously. And what do you mean TrustRadius isn't your number one priority every day?!? Admittedly, our world view gets warped because we truly believe that customer voice is at the core of successful modern tech companies.
