Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro (formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)
We are using UKG Pro across our whole organization. Previously our Human Resources information was still kept via paper records. UKG Pro has allowed us to manage everything electronically from any location.
- Payroll and tax filing services - the payroll gateway is easy to use and allows payroll to be completely seamlessly and easily. Additionally we have not had any issues with any of our tax filing accounts which was a major issue we experienced with a provider prior to changing to UKG Pro.
- Reporting - there is robust reporting capability which is helpful to be able to create a report to meet any need.
- Core product - the core employee and HR information is laid out in a way that is user friendly and easy to navigate.
- Recruiting - we have been disappointed with some lack of functionality within recruiting, particularly related to conditional questions which is a huge need for us.
- Talent management - could be tied into the core product better with better reporting and workflows that better match how other parts of the system work.
- Onboarding - we have a large group of seasonal employees which frequently involves a lot of rehires. The onboarding system does not manage rehires well.
- It has provided the ability to manage all HR activities in one platform.
- It has increased efficiency of the HR department, saving costs.
- It has provided employees and managers better visibility of important employment information.
We did not utilize any other HCMs prior to UKG Pro.
Unfortunately our company had a large reduction in force last year due to the economic impacts of the pandemic, like many others. I was suddenly an HR team of 1 and had a bulk hire of seasonal camp counselors. It was our first summer since implementing UKG Pro so the first time that I was learning how to best set up these employees in the system, while being down team members. I called UKG support to get some assistance with one area I needed help troubleshooting, and I remember the representative going above and beyond in helping me to get the task completed. He recognized that I had a lot on my plate and took the time to take a few extra minutes to help make things a little easier for me. I was really appreciative.
