Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro (formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)

Our HR department has used UKG Pro for several years now to manage our organization's basic HRIS needs (benefits, performance, talent and document management). The system provides us with a central place to collect, retain and report the majority of our HR needs.

Though it is a very robust system, there are many issues that often seem to be made overly complex and require technical assistance or changes that are only offered as a paid service. We do have a dedicated Account Manager who meets with us consistently. This has helped tremendously in ensuring our issues are promptly resolved and/or we have a greater understanding of the "why" of an issue.

Making the UKG Pro system more user-friendly and intuitive would go a long way in retaining current customers and finding new ones.
  • Assigned dedicated Account Manager - provides one-on-one assistance.
  • Rapid Response line - prompt answers to many questions.
  • Career Development Opportunities - the Super Admins should be able to rename and delete courses without having to set up a case or pay for more thorough changes.
  • Open Enrollment set up and Document Acknowledgement set up - copying one event or document acknowledgement could be easier and allow for more modifications to the event or document acknowledgement as it is being created.
  • Business Rules - there needs to be more Deduction/Benefit Types to allow for changing situations and circumstances.
  • UKG Pro has the ability to improve HR's costs/time savings, but the learning curve is very steep.
  • Employee engagement could be more positively impacted if using the functions (changing the home page...) were easier and more intuitive.
The reports from BI seem to load within a reasonable time frame.
This is probably the strongest area - the support is there when needed. It is just that it should not be needed so much.
Our Account Manager, Fabiana Imposimato, has been amazing. We are so grateful she is "on our team" in terms of staying in contact with us, keeping on top of our issues/cases as well as sharing anything that may be of assistance to us. She is fabulous!
This system is best for a large company with very standard processes. There is not enough opportunities for individualizing or making modifications without having to go through Rapid Response, open a case or contact our Account Manager.
