Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro (formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)

UKG is used across the entire company. We use core and UTM for timekeeping and PTO accrual/usage. UKG has made it possible to be able to use one system for timekeeping and payroll processing.
  • Time keeping
  • PTO requests & accrual
  • Processing tax payments and filings
  • Quicker turn around on cases submitted with tax related issues.
  • Quicker generation of payroll report: Collection details, sometimes it takes 1-2 hours for the report to be available.
  • The recent change to UTM ribbon, you now have to click to go to different areas and then your readable space is less unless you close the ribbon, it is now more of a hassle to go from section to section.
  • Has caused the employee to be more responsible for the accuracy of their information since they have to input several items.
  • Has made payroll processing take less time to do.
  • It's nice to have time keeping and payroll together.
Time Force was used to track time. We then had to integrate that information into our accounting system. UKG does it all together.
Pre-Check Payroll Register takes too long to export to Excel regardless if it's a full payroll or an off-cycle with only a couple of employees. It generally takes 10—15 minutes for that to export. Most other reports load and export quickly. Collection details: can take up to a couple of hours to be able to see it.
Support is generally really good. There are times when a tax case is created and that takes longer to address.
The majority of my cases have been handled exceptionally well.
Overall UKG has been a good system. There is always a learning curve with any new system, but it is a good one. Overall support is good and the UKG employees are friendly and helpful.
