Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro
UltiPro is our HRIS system; we use it to manage all employee information: recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits enrollment, performance reviews and maintenance of our employee and applicant databases.
- Customized home page is very useful; allows development of a variety of communication vehicles to employees.
- Performance review/evaluation module are user friendly and customizable in positive ways.
- Recruiting and applicant tracking is module very effective.
- The ACA module is not very useful to us right now as our workforce is very seasonal and we keep employees active for 9 months before terminating them in the system; as a result it cannot track hours worked effectively. Also because many of our employees work at sea and do not punch a time clock but are paid based on the value of their catch, we do not have a way to track hours and eligibility for healthcare even if we were to upload hours for these employees.
- In creating open enrollment, it would be nice to be able to "copy" a previous open enrollment session's details, edit those that need to be edited and use it for a new OE. Currently we have to re-enter all the information much of which may not have changed from one year to the next.
- It would be of benefit to us if the system were able to send a notification to a designated administrator whenever a new employee is added to the system.
