Valuable Vidyard!
Overall Satisfaction with Vidyard
We use Vidyard in multiple departments in the organization. In marketing, my world, we use it primarily as a distribution platform for lead-gen efforts and to manage our YouTube channel. We have also used the Hubs feature as a distribution point for our sales team. I really like the versatility that the platform allows. We can distribute video in almost any way that we need to.
Pros
- So many ways to distribute and share video through the platform. I especially like that we can manage the content on our YouTube channel and keep all of our video assets in a central place.
- While we haven't leveraged them to their full potential, the inline forms and CTA functions are exciting.
- In-app caption translation? Yes! Makes internationalization SO easy.
Cons
- We've had to create a custom responsive embed for ourselves -- it would be nice to have that be native.
- It can be tough to manage the video library when you get ton of videos in your library. Better management tools would be appreciated.
- Video is a big part of our demand gen strategy, and Vidyard has served us well
