Overall Satisfaction with Vidyard

Vidyard is used by the marketing and sales teams. The marketing team uses it to host video content to use on our website, social media, and email. Our webinars, promotional videos, and some of our training videos are on Vidyard. What makes Vidyard different from our past use of YouTube for example is that we are able to track user interactions. Another part of the team uses Vidyard for customized outreach to prospects.
  • It gives us the ability to use captions, although the auto feature for this is not enough.
  • It allows us to reach out to clients in a highly personalized way.
  • The training and follow up from the Vidyard team has been very helpful.
  • The auto-captioning feature needs improvement. Hours of work needs to go into videos to make the needed corrections and we don't want to pay more to have someone else do it.
  • Videos take a very long time to upload compared to other sites we use.
  • It's too early to tell.
The team was fairly helpful, although one of our managers had to do a lot of the video locating and uploading herself. This was something the Vidyard team had said they would handle, but that didn't happen that way. The trainer did a good job, she was very easy to talk to and had a teaching background so that she was able to convert lessons well.
The onboarding team has been very helpful. I've also used some of the digital help resources fairly easily.
Right now we are frustrated with some of the functions, the change to the new platform has made it much harder to use Vidyard, and I'm not sure that the support team can help us.
Reaching out to customers on a one-on-one basis is a strong feature of Vidyard. We've been having some issues since they moved to a new platform--pages keep freezing. Also, the auto-captioning doesn't work well. It took 5 hours for someone to edit the transcript for a one hour video, and this isn't the first time that has happened.
