Visualize Amazing Human Capital
Overall Satisfaction with Visier Workforce Analytics
Visier is being used across the organization to measure and analyze human capital. The pre-built metrics are extremely helpful for us to rapidly deploy meaningful content that helps our key decision makers have a view into the workforce that was previously unavailable. While this SaaS solution has a primary focus on human capital, each release makes the system more capable of linking human capital to key business results.
Pros
- Onboarding: The data dictionary is clear and concise, and when there are questions, our client success manager and Visier data scientist are quick with answers.
- Customer Relationship: Our client success manager has built an extremely strong relationship with us and shows drive in helping us be successful.
- Delivered Metrics: Visier makes it easy to find answers to questions through the Topic Guide Book, and to define desired metrics/dimensions through the metric explorer.
- Assessing Talent: The Talent Advisor will change the way we manage our people.
- Deploying Packaged Content.
- Configuring Custom Content.
- Built in Analytic Capabilities and Modeling.
Cons
- Technical Deadlines Often Missed: On several occasions during data onboarding, or applying fixes to data, communicated deadlines were missed by 24-48 hours.
- Security can be convoluted, but is effective.
- Built on Flash and the only native mobile apps are for iPad (iPhone forthcoming).
- We are still assessing ROI on this solution within our company, but so far feedback has been positive.
As a SaaS solution focused specifically on human capital analytics, Visier has allowed us to rapidly deploy our key metrics and analytics in a shorter amount of time than would have been possible with another vendor. Additionally, as Visier owns the infrastructure, this solution was cheaper from both an infrastructure and staffing perspective than the alternatives.
Visier Workforce Analytics Implementation
- Vendor implemented
- Implemented in-house
Yes - Our phases have been built around our specific content areas starting with our core HR data and moving through other topic areas based on perceived importance and data readiness. Due to other commitments within our organization, our implementation has been extremely drawn out. We are still working on onboarding various topics and cleaning up processes to allow it to provide us with better data prior to onboarding others.
Change management was a minor issue with the implementation
- Error checking/cleaning data (completely internal).
- Roll-out dependencies on internal group for whom this was not a priority.
