Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint

We are using WatchGuard AuthPoint to provide single-sign-on and multi-factor authentication for several of our line-of-business apps, as well as login security for our mobile Windows devices. We are using WatchGuard AuthPoint across our whole organization because it provides an added layer of security and protection that is indispensable in today's world.
  • Configuration is relatively easy
  • Ease of use
  • Needs support for Open ID Connect (OIDC)
  • Needs direct integration with Azure AD for MFA
  • Configuring for firebox VPN authentication is tedious. Integration directly with fireboxes would be ideal.
  • WatchGuard AuthPoint protects our company's interests by helping minimize the risk of our staff members' accounts being compromised and exploited.
As with most cloud-based solutions, configuration and manageability of WatchGuard AuthPoint is very convenient as it can be done from anywhere, especially when our staff is working from home or out in the field.
Support responses are relatively quick and issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Do you think WatchGuard AuthPoint delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with WatchGuard AuthPoint's feature set?

No

Did WatchGuard AuthPoint live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of WatchGuard AuthPoint go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy WatchGuard AuthPoint again?

Yes

From an end user's perspective it is very easy to use, however from a management perspective it is a little more challenging due to difficulty of configuring some features such as SSLVPN integration.
WatchGuard AuthPoint works well for Windows logon authentication, and for adding multi-factor authentication to applications that support security assertion markup language (SAML).
