Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses
We use Webexpenses to manage our incidental personal expenses. It replaced a previous excel based system that was highly manual and labour intensive. The system has enabled us to automate expenses, reduce paperwork and take out a large amount of manual intervention. It also enables us to manage expenses on the go via the mobile app.
Pros
- Ability to manage expenses on the go via app and desktop tools.
- Full access to expense history for end of year tax reporting.
- Custom reports to enable better analytics.
Cons
- The automated reading of receipts could be more accurate.
- Editing claim items on mobile can be frustrating as it's not the most user friendly interface.
- Personally I'm saving 3-4 hours per month not having to file manaul expense reports
- Being able to upload receipts on the move via the app is helpful and time saving
As a user, this tool revolutionises expense management by enabling me to add receipts instantly on my mobile device. It intelligently collates all necessary financial information, streamlining the claims submission process. The seamless capture and organisation of expenses saves considerable time, transforming a traditionally tedious administrative task into a quick and effortless experience.
It is many years since I last used the SAP process that I have outlined in my answer above. As I recall it had many of the same features that Webexpenses has so I would say it is a comparable product. Webexpenses does not lack any of the functionality that I used in the previous product so I would have to say that it stacks up rather well, as I've noticed no difference in my use.

Webexpenses Feature Ratings
Using Webexpenses
185 - They represent all departments across the wider business, including, but not limited to the sales department, marketing teams, Human Resouce professionals, the finance division, Information Technology teams, supply chain functions, and many other areas of our business that support the day to day running of the organisation in its goals.
1 - Support for the Webexpenses system is provided by one internal resource who is the go between for the company and the service provider. This internal resource has a broad knowledge of the system, but ultimately we would rely on the support services offered directly by the team at Webexpenses that we are able to access via the web and mobile applications.
- Efficient expense management
- Ease of reporting
- Prompt and accurate reimbursement
- None to report
- Integration with internal systems to enable seemless submissions and payments.

Yes - The interface that the application provides for use on a mobile phone generally works well for my style of usage. I mostly use the applciation to upload receipts on the go. When I have used the application to process claims and update items it can be a little clunky, and whilst Ok I prefer to work from the desktop.
