Overall Satisfaction with Workfront
We use this product for tracking our product development work and product changes. We have created custom templates to mirror the stagegate process slightly modified to fit our company culture. We use Workfront to notify each department of their need to get involved electronically and host everything on the cloud.
- Workfront is good at organizing complex tasks.
- Workfront is customizable through templates and dashboard reporting.
- Workfront integrates into mobile and Outlook apps.
- Workfront does not have a strong mobile option. Needs to have the same (or close) capabilities as the online version.
- Workfront does not integrate into Outlook well. Would like to be able to add emails and documents into Workfront via Outlook. See Evernote for ideas.
- We use the product for product development, it has allowed us to get a new product to market up to twice as fast as before now that every level of management has visibility to the project timelines.
Evernote was great for personal organization. I still use it for that. Workfront provides the ability to collaborate on highly complex processes which involve multiple people in multiple departments. The ability to see the status of each project and the condition each project is in helps to hold people accountable at every level of the process and get new products to market faster.
