Overall Satisfaction with XenDesktop

XenDesktop is mostly used by Finance, HR and Management. It is a great light weight solution as opposed to desktops. Mixed with our Citrix environment, we couldn't be happier.

  • Easy policy implementation
  • Users are generally happy about their new desktop experience
RDP, which is not really a good example of competition, for XenDesktop is way ahead in features, security and customization.
Key questions always linger around scalability and a business need for implementation. Although the desktop counterpart isn't going anywhere in the near future, XenDesktop provides an unmatched solution. Though it relies on the network for utilization, it is rather lightweight and its deployment is simple.
