Overall Satisfaction with Ziflow

Our team uses Ziflow for review and approval (and record-keeping for the same) of all marketing and advertising initiatives, including website launches and revisions, new media of all kinds, (stand-along images, video, banner ads, etc.), packaging graphics, trade marketing (PDQ/endcap artwork), and all new copy associated with any of the above - basically everything. Ziflow allows us to stage-gate and streamline the review process, ensuring that we use resources appropriately and route all new and revised assets to appropriate personnel for approval. It also allows us to retain historical records of discussions and comments that are related to approved artwork/copy - this is incredibly helpful when reviewing justification for certain claims language long after launch.

  • Sometimes I have difficulty in switching between comment types (e.g., text replacement vs text insertion), but my colleagues don't seem to have the same issue.
  • Search functionality is present, but could benefit from improvement.
  • The help desk is very responsive to inquiries, but there is no live chat option, which I often prefer.
  • The reduced regulatory risk is associated with unapproved or poorly reviewed assets being used in advertising.
  • Significant reduction in hours required to managed manual proofing system.
  • Significantly improved speed of review/approval process by means of consolidated digital commenting, version control, email reminders, etc.
We used to manage our review/approval process via email and conference calls to discuss comments. Records of approval were challenging and time-consuming to manage. The adoption of Ziflow significantly reduced the amount of time our team spends on each proof review and has sped up our 'time to market significantly, while also virtually eliminating the burden of record-keeping.
There are several benefits, the first being email notifications of when a team member's input is required for approval - everyone on the team has visibility to who has opened, reviewed, and issued a decision on a proof. There is some increased accountability when you know that you're the last one to issue a decision. The comment section is also incredibly helpful - the ability to tag colleagues when asking questions about a specific design element or verbiage in copy keeps everyone working together without wasting time on emails or phone calls.

Anyone looking for a product to support intra/inter-organizational proofing will benefit from this product. I honestly struggle to find anything negative to say about it. The application's customization options make it a fit for any organization, large or small, and it can be tuned to fit any level of complexity, while also being incredibly simple to set up and operate.
