AdHawk

Despite its shortcomings, AdHawk is a neat, useful tool that provides tactical information for developing solid Facebook ad campaigns. AdHawk is great for managing smaller Facebook Ad budgets. You're able to select a truly actionable guideline in an easy to view format for decision-making. You can really optimize an ad to perform best using the data AdHawk generates

Autopilot

It is terrific for the small business looking to explore marketing automation without having to invest in bigger solutions. It is less appropriate for a business wanting more features such as a native CRM, landing pages, etc.

Pros

  • Great UI
  • Accurate reporting
  • Strong data points

  • Email Campaigns
  • Drip Nurturing
  • Smart Segments

Cons

  • Ability to look at two campaigns at once (comparative stats)
  • Only available for Facebook or G+
  • No export feature for reporting
Stefanie Cash profile photo
  • Modifications to live, existing programs can be a little tricky. Versioning would be nice.
  • Shape count numbers can be misleading to new users. Furthermore, these numbers make for unreliable analytics although the accurate alternative using smart segments gets pretty cumbersome.
  • Organizing campaigns can be a bit difficult since smart segments live within the Contact section and Journeys live in a separate section. Program folders might help this.

Usability

AdHawk10.0
Based on 1 answer
AdHawk is extremely easy to use. Not many buttons to click to get to any area of importance. It's also very clean and sophisticated in design which makes for a pleasant experience. The optimization features even explain to you the value of going with the suggested strategy. Overall, AdHawk is a great software for managing Facebook and Google Ads

Alternatives Considered

AdHawk is far better than the other products regarding how simplified the reporting of ad results are. AdHawk is cleaner and easier to understand. Allows for easy comparing of conversion points within a campaign. Other products are simply not as easy to use. Also, optimization is not a feature available with many services

We engaged with an independent marketing automation consultant who helped us vet marketing automation vendors. After meeting with several stakeholders across the company (marketing, sales, customer success, development, and exec), Autopilot beat out all other marketing automation vendors. The primary reasons were the features available: ease of use, integration with other systems, APIs & ability to customize, flexible subscription management, customer support, and price.

Return on Investment

  • Ad optimization data
  • Simplified ad management
  • Audience understanding

  • The investment is certainly less than other competitors, so it's an easy sell for smaller companies or a segment of a larger company.
