Creately's folder system is a novel feature that beats its competitors. It helps keep everything organized. In addition, there are many more customization possibilities, especially in the shapes and in the library of templates and drawings. It has an intelligent drawing …
Miro's UI is much loved one for me ! no doubt in that . the smoothness that miro offers can be unmatchable. also the navigation options, wiring between the cards , integration was much better to the other softwares that i have used so far. miro also has autosave option when i …
Overall I really like to use Miro. It has the features and tools that make getting my ideas down far easier than other products that I have used before. I like that it has made teamwork easier and that all members of our team find it easy to use too.
Creately sells itself as software specializing in a wide variety of areas, which is true in some cases. Visualizing and creating marketing processes, research, user flows, and general flowcharts is an extremely powerful tool. However, in other areas, such as Human Resources, UI/UX prototyping, and Wireframe design, it leaves a little to be desired compared to the competition.
Using Miro is easy due of its organization. Its easy drag and drop feature speeds up plan building. Miro also makes imagining anything easy. The generated status reports are detailed and attractive. Miro has great timers, live polls, and other interactive elements. Miro is great for workshop leaders because it covers product creation from start to finish.
Miro's digital canvas allows for the creation of visually engaging project plans. Using shapes, connectors, and color-coded elements, I can map out project timelines, milestones, and dependencies. The visual representation enhances comprehension and makes it easy for team members to grasp the project's structure at a glance.
During virtual meetings, team members can collaborate in real-time on Miro's canvas. Whether it's adding sticky notes with ideas, making annotations, or updating task cards, the platform ensures that everyone is on the same page. This real-time collaboration fosters a sense of teamwork and accelerates decision-making.
In a cross-functional project, Miro serves as a central collaboration space. Teams from different departments can contribute to the project board, share feedback, and collaborate on tasks. The ability to integrate diverse perspectives in one visual workspace fosters effective cross-functional collaboration, breaking down communication barriers.
Miro's boards are dynamic and flexible. I can easily rearrange elements, resize sections, and adapt the board as project requirements evolve. This flexibility is particularly valuable when responding to changes in project scope or when experimenting with different project structures and layouts.
Miro is very good but still too basic. It would be great to have more precision and some advanced tools. More control over the text size and objects alignment is a need for our design team. Also, the experience on the tablets is not so good. Many dead clicks and problems while trying to select objects and tools.
It's pretty easy to use. My gripes are with some small idiosyncrasies with selection behavior with objects and editing text. When I move an object, it automatically de-selects it when I am not done with it. I have to click to select again. Text control is challenging and could be improved. It could use a little more styling capability. It's also weird that it behaves differently in a shape then when using the text tool.
Superb. very well explained videos. Really helps get the knowledge up on the product. The slides are divided into the topics of usage. I have enjoyed following and implementing all of these slides. The videos are well explained and it is easy to follow. There are tutorials that you can take yourself later. It would be nice however if more training modules were added.
The implementation of Miro was very much straightforward. Since Miro is a completely cloud based solution, it hardly took a week for us to get this implemented and running in our organization. Also, a lot of self help documents and videos were available which made it easy for us to start working with Miro
While Jira is a robust project management tool, its Kanban boards might lack the level of customization desired for specific team workflows. The flexibility to tailor Kanban boards extensively to match unique processes might be limited in Jira, which can sometimes hinder adaptability to diverse project needs, and Miro helps us in these cases. Figma's strength lies in its powerful design capabilities, but constructing mockups may require a certain level of UX/UI design knowledge. The platform caters more to design-specific tasks and might have a steeper learning curve for those not familiar with UX principles compared to Miro.
I was able to complete a Customer Journey Map for a complex legacy product, with dozens of variables end-to-end across the customer experience, collaborating with a large established product support team, in only 2 workshops plus a couple hours "clean up" for presentation.
In my experience, working with established experienced teams who support legacy products, creating something as complex as a CJM covering dozens of customer experience variables, can take weeks. I honestly believe that as Miro was quick to understand, easy to use, it allowed all of us to create content with value, far quicker than traditional applications.
